Broforce is a chaotic side-scrolling action game that parodies action movies through a roster of exaggerated heroes inspired by famous cinematic characters. Missions send the Broforce into heavily defended enemy territory filled with soldiers, explosives, machinery, aliens, and destructible terrain.

Fast movement, powerful weapons, fragile characters, and chain reactions regularly turn carefully arranged levels into spectacular destruction.

How the Gameplay Works
Each Bro has a distinct primary attack and special ability, ranging from machine guns and swords to explosives and unusual gadgets. Rescuing prisoners adds another life and usually switches the player to a randomly selected Bro.

Almost every section of terrain can be destroyed, creating alternate paths or accidental hazards. Local and online cooperative play lets several players combine characters, making missions even more unpredictable as explosions and collapsing terrain affect everyone.
