About This Game:
Call of Duty: Black Ops is a first-person shooter centered around covert operations during the Cold War. Players mainly follow CIA operative Alex Mason as he attempts to understand fragmented memories of classified missions while interrogators question him about mysterious numbers connected to a wider conspiracy.
The story moves through several countries and military operations, combining historical Cold War influences with fictional secret missions. Alongside the campaign, competitive multiplayer and the popular Zombies mode provide separate experiences built around progression and cooperative survival.
How the Gameplay Works
Campaign missions use assault rifles, submachine guns, shotguns, sniper rifles, explosives, and specialized equipment. The story frequently changes locations and mission styles, moving between infantry firefights, stealth operations, vehicle sequences, and larger scripted battles.
Multiplayer provides customizable weapon classes, perks, equipment, and score-based competition across numerous maps and modes. Zombies allows players to cooperate against increasingly difficult undead waves while purchasing weapons, opening new areas, and trying to survive as long as possible.
