Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition is a cinematic action-adventure that reimagines the Castlevania mythology through the story of Gabriel Belmont. Gabriel travels across a dark fantasy world seeking a way to restore his lost wife while battling creatures, ancient powers, and the Lords of Shadow.
The Ultimate Edition brings the main campaign together with additional story content, extending Gabriel’s journey beyond the original ending. The adventure moves through forests, castles, ruins, snowy mountains, villages, and supernatural realms.
How the Gameplay Works
Gabriel fights with the Combat Cross, a chain-based weapon used for direct attacks, area strikes, grabs, counters, and traversal. Light and Shadow Magic consume separate energy pools and can be activated to restore health or increase damage.
Levels mix arena battles with climbing, platforming, environmental puzzles, giant enemy encounters, and boss fights. Upgrades unlock new combat moves, health increases, magic capacity, and secondary weapons such as daggers, holy water, and crystals.
