Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 – Uprising is a standalone expansion set after the events of Red Alert 3. The Allied victory has changed the balance of power, but resistance movements, corporate experiments, surviving Soviet forces, and the Empire of the Rising Sun continue creating conflicts across the alternate timeline.
Several shorter campaigns follow different factions and characters rather than one continuous global war. A separate story focusing on psychic commando Yuriko Omega changes the usual RTS perspective and explores her origins through missions built more directly around controlling a powerful individual unit.
How the Gameplay Works
Most missions retain the traditional Red Alert structure of constructing bases, collecting resources, producing armies, and using faction-specific technologies against enemy forces. New units expand the Allied, Soviet, and Imperial arsenals with additional strategic possibilities.
Commander’s Challenge provides a large collection of standalone battles where new units and technologies can be unlocked by defeating specialized enemy commanders. These scenarios often apply unusual rules or place the player against a particular tactical advantage that must be countered effectively.
