DOG WITCH is a colorful roguelike deckbuilder that combines cards, enchanted dice, unusual items, and a canine spellcaster. Instead of relying on a conventional deck alone, the game’s combat revolves around using dice results alongside collected abilities to create increasingly unusual combinations.
More than 150 different items can be discovered and combined during runs, giving players plenty of room to experiment. Strategies can involve direct attacks, summoned minions, synergistic effects, and other magical combinations capable of turning seemingly ordinary items into powerful builds.
How the Gameplay Works
Battles are turn-based and require players to work with the dice and abilities currently available to them. Different results can activate spells or interact with collected items, making adaptation an important part of surviving each encounter.
New items and opportunities appear throughout a run, allowing the build to evolve in different directions. Finding interactions between equipment, dice effects, summons, and abilities can produce increasingly powerful combinations, while procedural progression keeps future attempts from following exactly the same path.
