About This Game:
Dome Keeper is a mining and defense roguelike where a fragile dome sits on the surface of a hostile alien world. Beneath it lies a large underground area filled with minerals and useful discoveries, but every mining trip is interrupted by waves of creatures trying to destroy the dome.
The central tension comes from deciding how long to remain underground. Digging deeper can provide enough resources for powerful upgrades, but staying away for too long may allow the next attack wave to overwhelm the defenses.
How the Gameplay Works
During peaceful periods, players tunnel through rock, locate resource deposits, and carry mined materials back to the dome. Resources can improve drilling, movement speed, carrying capacity, dome health, weapons, and other systems.
When enemies attack, control shifts to the dome’s defensive weapon and players manually target incoming creatures. Runs continue through repeated mining and defense cycles until the main objective is completed or the dome is destroyed.
