Dominions 5: Warriors of the Faith is a turn-based fantasy strategy game centered on rival pretender gods competing for control of the world. Players choose from a large collection of nations inspired by mythology, history, folklore, and original fantasy concepts.
Each faction has its own troops, commanders, priests, mages, sacred units, and magical strengths. The enormous spell system and large number of strategic options make campaigns highly variable, especially when several human-controlled nations compete in multiplayer.
How the Gameplay Works
Players recruit armies, conquer provinces, build forts and temples, research magic, search for magical sites, and issue orders during simultaneous turns. Battles are resolved automatically according to the units, formations, equipment, and scripted orders prepared beforehand.
Dominion represents the spread of a pretender god’s religious influence and is as important as military expansion. Players can also forge magical items, summon creatures, cast global enchantments, and pursue powerful late-game strategies through different schools of magic.
