Draft of Darkness is a survival horror deckbuilder set in a ruined city where darkness, monsters, and scarce supplies make every journey dangerous. Players guide survivors through branching locations while managing cards, equipment, health, and the long-term consequences of earlier choices.
The game combines card combat with exploration and narrative decisions. Characters can be injured or lost, and resources spent recklessly in one area may leave the group unable to survive a later encounter.
How the Gameplay Works
Battles are turn-based and use decks built from attacks, defensive actions, equipment, and character abilities. Cards can consume ammunition or other resources, connecting combat decisions directly to the survival layer.
Outside battle, players choose routes, investigate locations, trade or scavenge, and respond to events.
