About This Game:
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a side-scrolling action RPG and prequel to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The story brings adventurer CJ to New Nevaeh, a settlement located near ancient ruins filled with treasure and magical Runebarrows.
CJ eventually joins forces with Garoo and Isha, creating a three-character party with different combat and traversal abilities. Completing requests for residents also helps rebuild New Nevaeh, gradually transforming the damaged town into a more useful base for future expeditions.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore side-scrolling ruins while switching between CJ, Garoo, and Isha during combat and traversal. CJ specializes in quick movement, Garoo provides powerful close-range attacks, and Isha adds magical abilities to the group.
Materials recovered from ruins can be used to improve weapons, equipment, shops, and other parts of the town. Completing requests earns stamps and opens additional services while stronger enemies and bosses appear deeper inside the surrounding ruins.
