About This Game:
Holomento is a permadeath action RPG set in Eventide Hollow, a once-thriving region devastated by a mysterious curse. Travelers attempt to cross the dangerous land while also restoring abandoned towns, roads, and other parts of the Hollow for those who come after them.

Although individual adventurers can die permanently, improvements made to the world provide a sense of continuing progress between journeys. Exploration therefore serves both the current character and the longer goal of bringing life back to Eventide Hollow.

How the Gameplay Works
Players explore in third person while fighting enemies with melee and ranged weapons, collecting equipment, entering dungeons, and discovering locations across the Hollow. Different gear and upgrades allow each traveler to develop a distinct combat style.

Resources gathered during adventures can contribute toward rebuilding settlements and improving the world. Death ends the current traveler’s journey, but restoration progress helps future characters begin in a gradually improved version of Eventide Hollow.
