Empire Earth: Gold Edition is a large-scale real-time strategy package that lets players guide civilizations across thousands of years of technological development. Starting in prehistoric times, nations can progress through numerous historical ages and eventually reach futuristic warfare involving advanced machines and weapons.
The Gold Edition combines the original Empire Earth with The Art of Conquest expansion, providing additional campaigns, civilizations, units, technologies, and strategic options. Its enormous historical range allows individual matches to evolve dramatically as primitive armies are gradually replaced by modern and futuristic forces.
How the Gameplay Works
Players gather food, wood, stone, gold, and iron before constructing settlements, military buildings, defensive structures, and economic improvements. Advancing into a new epoch unlocks stronger technologies and unit types. Battles can involve infantry, cavalry, siege weapons, ships, aircraft, tanks, and futuristic equipment depending on the current age.
