Far Cry Primal is an open-world action game set in the Stone Age, where hunter Takkar arrives in the land of Oros and works to rebuild the Wenja tribe. Rival tribes, predators, harsh wilderness, and limited technology replace the firearms and vehicles of modern Far Cry games.
The game centers on primitive weapons, animal companions, hunting, gathering, and village development.
How the Gameplay Works
Players use bows, clubs, spears, traps, fire, and thrown weapons while hunting animals and fighting enemy tribes. Tamed beasts can scout, attack targets, or support the player in different ways.
Resources are used to craft equipment and upgrade the village, while specialists unlock new skills. Oros contains outposts, caves, hunts, side missions, and dangerous wildlife.
