About This Game:
Fates of Ort is a fantasy action RPG with a distinctive rule: time only moves when the player moves. This transforms exploration and combat into a combination of real-time control and tactical planning as enemies, projectiles, and hazards freeze whenever the character remains still.

Magic is central to the adventure but casting spells consumes life energy rather than a separate mana bar. Players must therefore decide whether a powerful attack is worth sacrificing health, especially when healing opportunities are limited.

How the Gameplay Works
Moving the character causes everything in the environment to advance simultaneously. Standing still gives players unlimited time to inspect enemy positions, incoming projectiles, and available escape routes before making the next movement.

Different spells create projectiles, area effects, summons, and other magical tools. Experience and equipment improve the character, while quests and exploration open additional regions and reveal choices that affect the fate of the world.
