First Strike: Classic is a real-time strategy game about nuclear powers competing for global dominance. Players control a nation, expand across neighboring territory, research technologies, construct weapons, and decide whether to launch devastating attacks or focus on defense and diplomacy.
Matches take place on a rotating globe where actions occur simultaneously. Because missiles take time to build and travel, successful play requires anticipating enemy attacks and deciding when offensive action is worth leaving territory vulnerable.
How the Gameplay Works
Players select regions to build missiles, research upgrades, expand national territory, or prepare defensive actions. Incoming nuclear weapons can be intercepted if suitable missiles and defenses are available, making timing critical during large exchanges.
Research unlocks stronger weapons and strategic abilities while territorial expansion increases available infrastructure. Alliances and escalating conflict can rapidly change the balance of power, particularly once several nations begin launching weapons simultaneously.
