About This Game:
Flotsam is a floating city-building survival game set on a colorful post-apocalyptic ocean where dry land has largely disappeared beneath the water. A small community of drifters survives by turning garbage, wreckage, and forgotten structures from the old world into the materials needed for a functioning settlement.

The city itself travels across the ocean, allowing players to search for new resources rather than remaining attached to one permanent location. Ruins, flooded structures, abandoned factories, wildlife, and stranded survivors provide reasons to keep exploring.

How the Gameplay Works
Players salvage floating debris and nearby locations before converting collected materials into buildings, equipment, food production, and useful infrastructure. Clean water and other necessities have to be maintained as the population grows.

Boats and the mobile settlement allow expeditions into different areas of the flooded world. Survivors can be rescued and added to the community, increasing available labor but also placing greater pressure on food, water, housing, and production systems.
