About This Game:
Ford Street Racing moves the manufacturer-focused racing series onto the streets of Los Angeles and adds a team-based racing system. Players build a garage of Ford vehicles ranging from classic Mustangs to modern performance cars and use them in both individual and multi-car championships.
Team events are the game’s defining feature. Instead of driving only one vehicle from start to finish, players can control a group of cars and switch between them during the race while AI takes over whichever vehicles are not currently being driven.
How the Gameplay Works
Solo races work like traditional street events where the goal is to finish ahead of rivals. Team races add tactical decisions by allowing the player to switch between team cars and issue commands that can help another driver block opponents or gain an advantage through drafting.
Winning championships earns money and unlocks additional vehicles, tracks, and events. Cars can be purchased for the garage and repaired after taking damage, making progression partly about maintaining a competitive team rather than simply owning the fastest vehicle.
