About This Game:
Forgive Me Father is a retro-inspired first-person shooter set in a disturbing world influenced by Lovecraftian horror. The protagonist is one of the few people who still appears to possess their senses and begins searching for answers while unnatural creatures and increasingly bizarre environments stand in the way.
The game combines three-dimensional environments with hand-drawn comic-style enemies and visual effects. Its dark atmosphere is paired with fast old-school shooting, large quantities of monsters, unusual weapons, and supernatural abilities that become increasingly important as the journey continues.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move quickly through levels while using firearms against groups of cultists, monsters, and other unnatural enemies. Weapons can be improved, providing stronger variations and helping the player deal with more dangerous encounters.
A Madness system influences combat and can provide additional power, while character abilities offer further options beyond ordinary gunfire. Exploration rewards players with ammunition, health, upgrades, and secrets hidden away from the most obvious route.
