About This Game:
Hail to the Rainbow is a first-person story-driven adventure set in a bleak cyberpunk version of post-apocalyptic Russia. It follows Ignat, a young survivor who lost his parents during the events that transformed society and has spent years adapting to an isolated life in the new world.
Ignat’s routine changes after an unexpected email draws him into a deeper mystery. Exploration of ruined technology and abandoned environments gradually reveals information about the surrounding disaster as well as the protagonist’s memories and personal struggles.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore environments in first person, inspect electronic records, gather useful objects, and solve technical puzzles. Inventory improvements make collected equipment more useful as the journey continues.
Although exploration and story are central, the world also contains hostile encounters that introduce shooter elements. Logical machinery puzzles, environmental investigation, and occasional combat alternate throughout Ignat’s journey.
