Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is a fast third-person action game developed around the four Ninja Turtles and their battles against Shredder, the Foot Clan, and a collection of familiar mutants. Its comic-inspired presentation brings Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo together for missions spread across New York City.
The game emphasizes constant team action, with all four Turtles participating during missions even when playing alone. Large groups of Foot soldiers and other enemies lead into boss encounters featuring recognizable villains from the TMNT universe.
How the Gameplay Works
Players use fast melee attacks, dodges, counters, jumps, and special Ninjutsu abilities during combat. Each Turtle carries a different signature weapon and can equip abilities that provide offensive, defensive, or support effects.
In single-player, players can switch between Turtles while AI controls the others. Cooperative multiplayer allows several players to fight as the team together. Missions include changing objectives before eventually leading to battles against powerful mutant or Foot Clan bosses.
