About This Game:
Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos is a farming and life simulation set in the land of Anthos, where a volcanic disaster separated several villages years earlier. The player receives a message connected to the Harvest Goddess and begins restoring travel and communication between the isolated communities.
The game uses a larger explorable world than many older Harvest Moon entries, with different climates, villages, wild animals, crops, and resources spread across the region. Farming remains important, but exploration and rebuilding connections between settlements drive much of the story.
How the Gameplay Works
Players plant and harvest crops, care for livestock, fish, mine, gather materials, cook, and complete requests for villagers. Special seeds and crop mutations can appear under different environmental conditions, encouraging players to farm in several regions.
Mounts make long-distance travel easier, while relationships can develop toward marriage with eligible characters. Festivals, tool upgrades, home improvements, and village restoration provide additional progression.
