About This Game:
Homefront is a first-person shooter set in a fictional near-future America occupied by the Korean People’s Army. Players take the role of Robert Jacobs, a former military pilot who is recruited by an American resistance movement fighting to reclaim territory and weaken the occupying forces.
The campaign presents suburban streets, damaged communities, military checkpoints, and resistance hideouts rather than distant foreign battlefields. Its story focuses heavily on civilians living under occupation and the resistance’s attempts to survive with limited resources.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move through a mostly linear campaign using assault rifles, sniper rifles, explosives, and other military weapons. Resistance fighters regularly accompany Jacobs, helping during firefights and guiding the group through occupied areas.
Some missions include vehicle sequences and remote-controlled military equipment in addition to traditional infantry combat. Multiplayer expands the scale with larger battlefields, vehicles, progression, and team-based objectives.
