About This Game:
Impaler is a compact arena first-person shooter where the player’s most unusual weapon is the ability to summon spikes directly from the ground. These spikes can impale enemies, provide temporary cover, or launch the player upward for additional mobility.

Short runs and escalating enemy waves give the game an arcade roguelite structure. Its deliberately retro presentation keeps attention on rapid movement and experimenting with combinations of guns and magical spikes.

How the Gameplay Works
Players circle the arena while shooting incoming monsters and placing spikes beneath enemies. Spikes can also be used for movement, allowing the player to gain height and avoid attacks from crowded groups.

Between waves, upgrades improve weapons and abilities for the remainder of the run. Surviving long enough leads to tougher encounters where positioning and efficient use of the arena become increasingly important.
