About This Game:
Intravenous is a top-down tactical action game following Steve Robbins as he enters the criminal underworld seeking revenge after the death of his brother. Every mission can become a careful stealth operation or an aggressive firefight depending on how the player chooses to approach the enemies ahead.
The game is designed so stealth and direct combat remain equally viable instead of treating loud action as an automatic failure. Darkness, sound, enemy awareness, weapons, armor, and environmental conditions all influence how situations develop.
How the Gameplay Works
During stealth, players remain in dark areas, move carefully to reduce noise, disable lights, and eliminate enemies without alerting nearby guards. Enemies can react to sounds and suspicious activity, requiring players to consider how much attention each action creates.
If stealth fails or the player prefers direct action, firearms and armor support much more aggressive encounters. Weapon handling and tactical positioning still matter because enemies can quickly punish careless movement during loud firefights.
