About This Game:
Killers and Thieves is a medieval crime-management game that places players in control of a thieves’ guild operating in the city of Greypool. Starting with inexperienced street criminals, the goal is to build a capable organization by recruiting specialists, training them, selecting profitable targets, and carrying out increasingly dangerous heists.
Every operation carries risk because experienced thieves can be captured or killed if a plan goes wrong. The guild also has regular expenses, making successful theft essential for paying wages and keeping the organization functioning while the larger revenge-driven story develops.
How the Gameplay Works
Players manage their guild between operations by recruiting characters with skills useful for burglary, lockpicking, stealth, or combat. Targets around the city can be investigated before a team is selected and sent into the location to steal valuables or complete another criminal objective.
During heists, players directly guide thieves through side-view locations, avoiding guards and searching for valuable items. Unexpected problems can force plans to change quickly, while successful jobs provide money and experience needed to strengthen the guild.
