Let Them Come: Onslaught is a science-fiction survival roguelite built around facing overwhelming numbers of alien creatures. Inspired by the exaggerated attitude of retro sci-fi action movies, the game gives players increasingly destructive weapons and upgrades while throwing larger and more dangerous hordes into each run.
The arsenal ranges from conventional firearms and flamethrowers to Photon Sabers, orbital attacks, and other extreme options. Players can experiment with different upgrade combinations instead of following one fixed character build, while procedurally generated environments and changing events ensure that runs do not follow exactly the same pattern.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move through top-down battlefields while alien groups continuously close in from different directions. Defeating enemies and surviving long enough provides opportunities to unlock weapons and stack upgrades, gradually transforming the character from a vulnerable survivor into a much more destructive force.
Two playable characters, the Soldier and the Psychic, support different approaches to surviving the invasion. Weapons and upgrades can be combined into specialized builds for crowd clearing, focused damage, defense, or other strategies. Procedural maps contain dynamic events, loot, and major enemies, while four distinct environments provide different backgrounds for the escalating alien assault.
