About This Game:
Lethal Company is a cooperative survival horror game where employees of a mysterious Company travel to abandoned moons, enter dangerous facilities, collect scrap, and sell enough value to meet an ever-increasing profit quota. The simple job becomes increasingly dangerous as creatures, weather, darkness, and limited time work against the crew.
Communication is one of the game’s most important systems. Players may split between the facility and the ship, using radios, monitors, doors, and terminal commands to help one another survive.
How the Gameplay Works
Players land on moons, enter industrial complexes, carry scrap back to the ship, use flashlights and tools, and avoid creatures with very different behaviors. Inventory space is limited, and carrying large items can make escape harder.
Scrap profits can buy equipment and access to more dangerous moons. Failing the quota can end the run, while losing crew members may also lose valuable gear. Proximity voice chat and unpredictable monster interactions create much of the tension and comedy during cooperative sessions. The longer-term loop is not only about reaching the next stage. four-player cooperative horror, scrap collection and profit quotas, and abandoned moon facilities all influence how efficiently the player can handle objectives, while proximity voice chat adds pressure or reward that becomes more noticeable later on. Players who understand those relationships generally have more options than those who focus on one mechanic alone.
