About This Game:
Mortal Kombat 1 reboots the series timeline under Fire God Liu Kang, presenting new versions of familiar characters and rivalries. The story follows a rebuilt universe where old relationships have changed, but a new threat begins disrupting Liu Kang’s intended peace.
The game introduces Kameo Fighters, support characters selected separately from the main fighter who can extend combos, interrupt pressure, or add special attacks.
How the Gameplay Works
Players use punches, kicks, throws, special moves, blocks, launchers, aerial strings, and Fatal Blows in fast one-on-one matches. Kameos are called during combat through dedicated inputs and have their own cooldowns.
Story Mode, Towers, training, online play, and the Invasions mode provide different ways to progress. Fatalities and other finishing moves remain a central part of the presentation.
