About This Game:
Nonentity Galaxy is a space strategy roguelite where surviving hostile encounters is only half the problem. Players work for a corporation that expects every mission to remain profitable, meaning repairs, losses, expenses, and company deductions can turn an apparently successful operation into a financial disaster. Dark humor and corporate bureaucracy are built directly into the progression systems.
Instead of controlling one spacecraft, players deploy fleets whose ships can be refitted using modules recovered during expeditions. Contracts, branching routes, salvage opportunities, tactical battles, and the decision to retreat all determine whether the fleet returns with enough profit to justify the risk.
How the Gameplay Works
Players select a contract before choosing routes containing battles and other encounters. Combat can largely be handled by AI, but manual commands allow ships to reposition or concentrate fire on important targets. Formation placement determines how effectively the fleet can attack while still protecting vulnerable ships.
Destroyed enemies and encounters provide salvage that can be recycled or installed as stronger modules. Dangerous routes may contain better rewards but also increase the chance of losing valuable equipment. Returning home safely ends the expedition, after which company expenses and deductions are calculated before the fleet can be repaired and prepared for another contract.
