About This Game:
Orbyss is an atmospheric logic puzzle game set inside a glowing digital universe threatened by an expanding shadow. Players control a small spark of energy that can travel between different Orbs, bringing them to life and using their individual positions to manipulate the environment. Rather than relying heavily on fast reflexes, the game encourages players to study each situation and discover how its interconnected systems work together.
As the journey continues, puzzles introduce increasingly unusual mechanics involving multiple controllable Orbs, time manipulation, drones, sound, and environmental interactions. The abstract world combines bright colors with darker corrupted areas, creating a visual contrast that accompanies the growing struggle against the mysterious force spreading through the universe.
How the Gameplay Works
Many puzzles require players to control more than one Orb and switch between them at the correct moments. One Orb may need to activate something while another is positioned elsewhere, creating situations that feel similar to cooperating with another player even though the entire puzzle is controlled by one person.
Later challenges combine abilities such as freezing time, controlling drones, and responding to sound-based mechanics.
