About This Game:
Oxygen is a post-apocalyptic survival city builder where a small group of people attempts to establish a functioning settlement around an Oxygen Center. The world has become unstable, exposing survivors to destructive winds, severe frost, drought, ground eruptions, and shortages of essential resources.
Keeping the Oxygen Center functioning is central to survival, but the colony must also secure food, water, energy, housing, materials, and productive workers. Research and exploration gradually provide access to better buildings and additional survivors.
How the Gameplay Works
Players construct homes, workplaces, storage facilities, food production, energy infrastructure, and other buildings while assigning residents to jobs. Resources must be stockpiled before severe weather events, especially when drought or frost can disrupt normal food and water production.
Exploration teams can be sent toward abandoned areas to recover supplies, while additional survivors may be discovered and invited into the settlement. Research unlocks new structures and technologies, and education improves workforce productivity. Environmental restoration also allows dead trees to be revived as the colony develops.
