Pinstripe is a story-driven puzzle adventure about Teddy, a former minister searching for his kidnapped daughter, Bo. His pursuit takes him through a frozen and increasingly surreal version of Hell ruled by an unsettling figure known as Pinstripe. Along the way Teddy encounters unusual characters who provide clues about his past and gradually reveal why he has been brought to this strange place.
The game combines melancholy storytelling with dark humor, hand-drawn environments, and a soundtrack that gives each area a dreamlike quality. Its narrative becomes more personal as Teddy moves deeper into the world, with environmental details and character conversations helping connect the strange journey to events from his life.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move through side-scrolling environments while jumping between platforms, speaking with characters, collecting useful items, and solving puzzles. Teddy eventually gains a weapon that can be used both against enemies and as a tool for interacting with parts of the environment. Certain obstacles require items or information found elsewhere before they can be passed.
