About This Game:
Police Simulator: Patrol Officers places players inside the fictional American city of Brighton and focuses on the routine responsibilities of a patrol officer rather than constant action. A new officer begins with relatively simple jobs such as checking parking violations before gradually gaining access to new neighborhoods, vehicles, emergency situations, traffic enforcement duties, investigations, and more serious crimes.
Brighton is divided into multiple districts containing neighborhoods with different architecture and traffic patterns. The city continues operating during a shift, allowing car accidents, traffic violations, emergency situations, and other incidents to occur naturally. Players are expected to enforce the rules correctly because unnecessary searches, arrests, or inappropriate use of police equipment can negatively affect their performance.
How the Gameplay Works
Patrols can be completed on foot or by using police vehicles. Players observe traffic and pedestrians, issue parking tickets, respond to accidents, interview witnesses, check identification, investigate suspicious activity, pursue offenders, and make arrests when sufficient evidence is available. The Intuition System can highlight useful observations and help newer players identify situations worth investigating.
Completing duties correctly earns experience that unlocks additional districts, responsibilities, vehicles, and patrol options. More advanced shifts can involve drug offenses, graffiti, speeding vehicles, traffic stops, emergency callouts, and transporting suspects to holding cells. Casual Mode offers a more forgiving experience, while Simulation Mode applies stricter rules. Patrols can also be completed cooperatively with another player online.
