Restaurats is a chaotic cooking and restaurant management game set in a fantasy medieval world where the chefs happen to be rats. Instead of serving ordinary human customers, the restaurant welcomes unusual guests such as orcs, skeletons, vampires, and other fantasy creatures. The result mixes cooperative kitchen work with slapstick humor and the unpredictable problems that come from trying to keep a busy restaurant functioning.
Players can operate the restaurant alone or join others in cooperative play, dividing jobs as orders begin piling up. Preparing dishes is only one part of the work, as ingredients, drinks, serving, cleaning, and general restaurant organization all compete for attention.
