About This Game:
Runers is a top-down roguelike dungeon shooter built around an unusually large spell-crafting system. Players descend through a dangerous underground labyrinth filled with monsters, bosses, traps, and magical runes that can be combined into hundreds of different spells.

Randomized dungeon layouts and the enormous range of possible spell combinations make experimentation an important part of repeated runs.

How the Gameplay Works
Characters move and aim freely while firing spells at enemies in real time. Runes collected during exploration can be combined in different recipes, producing projectiles, defensive magic, summoned effects, area attacks, and many other spell types.

Different character classes and traits influence starting capabilities, while increasingly dangerous floors test whether the player’s current spell combinations can handle crowds and bosses. Death ends the current run and encourages a new build on the next attempt.
