About This Game:
Rune Classic is a third-person action game inspired by Norse mythology. Players control Viking warrior Ragnar, whose journey of revenge and survival takes him through villages, caverns, fortresses, frozen landscapes, and supernatural realms populated by warriors and mythological creatures.
Combat is built primarily around melee weapons, with a large collection of swords, axes, hammers, and other equipment that can be picked up during the adventure.
How the Gameplay Works
Ragnar attacks, blocks, jumps, and moves through close-range battles where weapon reach and timing affect each encounter. Weapons differ in speed, damage, and special properties, encouraging players to adapt to what is available.
Exploration includes platforming, switches, traps, underwater sections, hidden items, and environmental hazards. Rune powers provide additional combat effects, while the campaign steadily introduces more dangerous human and supernatural opponents.
