School Days is a campus life simulation that follows a student through the important years leading toward China’s national college entrance examination. The game recreates everyday school life through classes, friendships, personal development, competitions, relationships, and choices that gradually shape the player’s future. Several classmates develop alongside the protagonist rather than remaining static supporting characters.
Choices can influence not only the player’s own path but also what eventually happens to close friends.
