About This Game:
Sheepherds! is a relaxed cooperative party game where players become sheepdogs responsible for guiding colorful flocks through peaceful countryside environments. Instead of placing pressure on the group with strict timers or harsh failure conditions, the game encourages players to experiment, run around, bark at sheep, and gradually learn how a flock reacts to the position and movement of each dog.
Up to four players can share the adventure locally or online, while the entire game can also be played alone. Sheep can be guided through flower-filled areas that change the color of their wool, and the collected wool contributes to cosmetic rewards. Different environments, optional challenges, dog customization, and adjustable difficulty add variety without changing the generally calm tone.
How the Gameplay Works
Sheep behave as a connected flock, reacting not only to nearby dogs but also to the movement of the other sheep. Players position their dogs around the group and bark at the right moment to push the flock toward a destination. Coordinating from different directions can make larger groups easier to manage, although the game deliberately allows casual and imperfect approaches.
Levels can be completed without a time limit, so groups can explore and play at their own pace. Optional challenges provide additional rewards for players wanting more structure. Difficulty can be changed between levels without reducing rewards, and multiplayer supports both couch co-op and online cooperative play.
