StarCrawlers is a science-fiction dungeon-crawling RPG where players lead a crew of freelance operatives taking dangerous contracts from corporations, criminals, and other factions. Missions send the team into abandoned ships, corporate facilities, space stations, and hidden complexes filled with security systems, robots, mercenaries, and alien threats.
The world reacts to completed jobs, meaning helping one corporation can improve its influence while damaging relationships with rivals. A large selection of character classes allows crews to combine hackers, soldiers, smugglers, engineers, psionic specialists, and other futuristic professions.
How the Gameplay Works
Exploration takes place from a first-person perspective as players move through grid-like environments, search rooms, interact with terminals, and discover loot. Encounters shift into turn-based battles where every crew member has individual abilities.
Characters gain experience and unlock deeper skill trees while weapons, armor, implants, and other equipment improve their performance. Procedurally generated missions provide repeatable contracts alongside a longer story campaign.
