Starship Troopers: Terran Command is a real-time strategy game that puts players in command of the Mobile Infantry during humanity’s war against the Arachnids. The campaign takes place within the militaristic science-fiction universe of Starship Troopers, where enormous Bug swarms can overwhelm poorly positioned human forces.
Rather than building huge armies without restrictions, the game places strong emphasis on unit positioning and clear firing lines. Infantry squads, specialists, vehicles, and support units must cooperate effectively to prevent Arachnids from closing the distance.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move squads across real-time battlefields while securing objectives, defending positions, clearing Bug nests, and establishing firing lines. Units cannot simply shoot efficiently through friendly troops, so elevation and formation are important when several squads are fighting together.
Different infantry types provide specialized weapons against particular Arachnid threats, while reinforcements allow damaged forces to be replaced or expanded. Missions introduce new unit types and increasingly dangerous Bug variants as the campaign continues.
