About This Game:
Stronghold 2 is a medieval real-time strategy and castle management game where players build fortified settlements, develop local economies, maintain their population, and raise armies for large battles. Taking the role of a medieval lord, players must produce food and resources, construct workshops, house workers, maintain popularity, and defend the castle against enemy forces. Separate Peace and War campaigns emphasize different parts of running a kingdom.

The sequel adds several systems that make castle life more complicated, including crime, punishment, rats, waste management, Honor, estates, feasts, and medieval entertainment. A wealthy castle can organize banquets and events to gain Honor, while criminals may need to be captured and rehabilitated or punished. Military play includes castle sieges, archers, infantry, siege engines, walls, towers, and battles involving large groups of troops.

How the Gameplay Works
Players construct buildings that automatically provide jobs for available peasants. Farms and food-processing buildings keep the population fed, while industries produce wood, stone, iron, weapons, clothing, and other resources. Taxes, food variety, housing, and castle conditions influence popularity, determining whether new workers arrive or existing citizens begin leaving.

Honor earned through feasts, jousting, dances, popularity, and other activities can be used to gain additional opportunities such as controlling estates. Military units can be commanded individually or in groups during defensive battles and sieges. Walls, gates, towers, traps, and siege machinery help protect or destroy fortified positions, while Kingmaker, Siege, Freeplay, campaigns, and multiplayer provide different ways to play.

How to Install:
