About This Game:
Superior is a cooperative third-person roguelite shooter where former superheroes have become corrupted monsters and ordinary fighters are sent to hunt them. The game combines gunplay, character abilities, temporary powers, and run-based upgrades across comic-book-inspired environments.
Defeated heroes can provide new abilities, allowing the player to gradually build a strange combination of stolen superpowers during a run.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move through arenas, shoot enemies, dodge attacks, use active abilities, and collect upgrades between encounters. Characters have different starting skills, while powers gained from fallen heroes can add mobility, elemental damage, area attacks, or defensive effects.
Runs grow more difficult as stronger enemies and boss-like former heroes appear. Cooperative play lets several players combine abilities and revive one another, while permanent unlocks expand the pool of characters and upgrades available in future attempts.
