Summum Aeterna is a fast 2D roguelite action-platformer set in the same universe as Aeterna Noctis. Players control the King of Darkness through procedurally generated worlds, fighting enemies, collecting weapons, and shaping each run through seed-based modifiers.
The game combines precise platforming with rapid combat and a progression system designed around repeated attempts. Different world seeds can alter enemy behavior, rewards, environmental conditions, or other run parameters.
How the Gameplay Works
Players jump, dash, attack with melee or ranged weapons, use abilities, and collect upgrades while moving through randomized areas. Weapon rarity and passive effects can create very different builds.
Resources recovered from runs can be spent in the hub to unlock permanent improvements and new options.
