About This Game:
The Forest is an open-world survival horror game in which a plane crash leaves the protagonist stranded on a heavily forested peninsula. While searching for his missing son, he discovers that the wilderness is inhabited by aggressive cannibals, underground mutants, and the remains of disturbing experiments.
How the Gameplay Works
Players cut trees, gather food, hunt animals, craft weapons, and build shelters or large defensive bases. Cannibal groups observe and react to the player, while caves contain valuable equipment and story clues alongside dangerous enemies. Survival can be tackled alone or cooperatively, with exploration gradually leading toward the mystery beneath the peninsula.
