About This Game:
Transformers: The Game is a third-person action game based on the 2007 live-action Transformers movie. The story brings the conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons to Earth as both factions search for the AllSpark. Instead of following only one side of the war, players can experience separate campaigns that show events from the perspective of both heroic Autobots and destructive Decepticons.
Several recognizable Transformers appear throughout the game, including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Barricade, and other characters from the film. Each Transformer has its own vehicle form and combat abilities, while missions take place across cities, military installations, highways, and other large environments inspired by the movie.
How the Gameplay Works
Players control Transformers from a third-person perspective and can switch between robot and vehicle forms whenever the situation allows. Robot form is useful for melee attacks, ranged weapons, grabbing objects, and fighting enemy Transformers, while vehicle form provides much faster movement when traveling across larger areas or chasing targets.
Campaign missions combine combat, driving, pursuit sequences, protection objectives, and battles against powerful Transformers. The two factions approach the story differently, with Autobots generally fighting to protect Earth while Decepticons cause destruction in their attempt to secure the AllSpark. Completing objectives moves the campaign forward and opens additional missions and playable characters.
