Transport Fever 2 is a transport management simulation about creating profitable networks that move passengers and cargo by road, rail, water, and air. Players can begin with early forms of transportation and gradually introduce faster trains, trucks, buses, ships, trams, and aircraft as technology develops.
Cities and industries respond to the transportation network around them. A successful company therefore needs more than isolated routes: raw materials must reach processing facilities, finished products need delivery connections, and growing cities require reliable passenger and cargo services.
How the Gameplay Works
Players construct roads, railway tracks, stations, depots, airports, harbors, and vehicle lines before assigning suitable vehicles to them. Routes earn money when passengers or cargo are transported efficiently, while poorly designed connections can become expensive to operate.
Free Play provides an open-ended transport sandbox, while the campaign presents scenarios across three continents. More than two hundred vehicles from Europe, America, and Asia are available, and the map editor allows custom landscapes to be created across different climate zones.
