Trials 2: Second Edition is a physics-based motorcycle game built around completing obstacle courses as quickly and cleanly as possible. Players ride a trials bike through compact tracks filled with ramps, steep climbs, suspended platforms, barrels, pipes, gaps, and other obstacles designed to test balance and throttle control rather than traditional racing lines.
The challenge comes from mastering the relationship between the motorcycle, rider weight, momentum, and terrain. Courses become increasingly difficult as players progress, often requiring repeated attempts to understand the correct speed and body position needed for each obstacle.
How the Gameplay Works
Players control acceleration and braking while shifting the rider’s weight forward or backward. Leaning at the right moment can prevent the bike from flipping, help the rear wheel grip steep surfaces, or prepare the rider for a difficult landing. Mistimed acceleration or poor balance usually sends the rider crashing into the environment.
Checkpoints reduce the need to restart an entire course after every mistake, but faults and completion time both affect performance. Different event types test speed, precision, endurance, and stunt control. Players can repeatedly revisit tracks to improve times, reduce crashes, and climb online leaderboards.
