Weird West is an action RPG and immersive simulation set in a supernatural version of the American frontier. Gunslingers share the wilderness with monsters, occult forces, strange creatures, and secret organizations while several connected protagonists experience different parts of the same changing world.
The game places strong emphasis on player choice and systemic interaction. Characters can survive or die, towns can change, factions remember actions, and decisions made during one hero’s journey can continue affecting the world when the story moves to another protagonist.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore from an overhead perspective while using firearms, melee attacks, stealth, special abilities, and environmental objects. Oil can be ignited, water can conduct electricity, explosive objects can damage groups, and other combinations allow encounters to be solved in different ways.
Quests frequently support multiple approaches, including direct fighting, sneaking, conversation, or finding alternate routes. Equipment and abilities improve each protagonist, while companions can join the journey and help during combat.
