About This Game:
1000 Days to Escape is a space strategy and survival game built around a countdown to Earth’s destruction. Humanity has only a limited amount of time to locate suitable worlds and move enough people away from the planet, forcing players to explore nearby space while developing the technology needed for large-scale evacuation.
The challenge comes from balancing exploration, research, construction, and limited time rather than slowly expanding without pressure. Unknown planets must be examined carefully because some can support human life while others contain environmental conditions that make settlement difficult or impossible.
How the Gameplay Works
Players launch probes and spacecraft into surrounding star systems to gather information about planets. Sensors reveal important conditions such as atmosphere, temperature, and other factors, allowing potential colonies to be evaluated before valuable resources are committed to them.
Research unlocks better rockets, equipment, and technologies that improve exploration and evacuation capability. Because the countdown continues as decisions are made, inefficient missions can waste precious days and leave too little time to transport enough people away from Earth.
