Battlefleet Gothic: Armada brings Warhammer 40,000 fleet warfare into real-time tactical battles. Commanders lead massive Imperial, Chaos, Ork, Eldar, and other vessels through engagements involving broadsides, torpedoes, boarding attacks, ramming, and ship-specific abilities.
The campaign follows conflicts surrounding the Gothic Sector and combines individual fleet engagements with persistent ship development.
How the Gameplay Works
Players issue movement orders while accounting for each vessel’s speed, turning radius, firing arcs, and weapon ranges. Individual systems can be targeted, and captains can activate abilities or repair damaged components during combat.
Surviving ships gain experience and can receive improvements that carry into later missions. Faction differences strongly affect battlefield tactics, making fleet composition and positioning important when facing faster, tougher, or more numerous opponents.
