About This Game:
Beacon Pines is a storybook-style narrative adventure set in a seemingly quiet town hiding a strange mystery. Players follow Luka and his friends as unusual events lead them toward secrets involving the town’s past, local residents, and the company that has become central to the community.

The story is presented as an illustrated book being narrated while the player helps determine how particular scenes unfold. Instead of making permanent branching choices immediately, players collect special words called Charms that can change crucial sentences in the story.

How the Gameplay Works
Players explore Beacon Pines, speak with residents, investigate locations, and collect Charms through conversations and discoveries. At special Turning Points, a Charm can be inserted into a sentence to choose how the story continues.

Different words create different branches, including paths that may end unexpectedly but reveal information or new Charms. The player can return to earlier Turning Points and try another option, gradually piecing together the complete mystery.
